Painting 101 Workshoppe ~
In this 101 workshop you will learn all you need to know to get started painting your own furniture. This is a bring-your-own-piece event (a SMALL table or nightstand would be perfect).
During the 3.5 hour workshop you will learn how to:
• Prepare your pieces BEFORE painting in order to get the best finish
• Achieve flawless paint finishes
• Select the best topcoat based on your specific project
• Plus many more tips and tricks
You’ll also get to play with all the fabulous Wise Owl and Cling On products we carry!
Once you have registered for the workshop, you will receive an email with a link to be added to a private Facebook group. There, I can help you select the perfect piece to bring to the workshop and will assist you prepping your piece for painting in class. I will provide you with all the information you'll need so that you feel comfortable walking into class. The group will remain open after the workshop so that you can ask follow-up questions as needed.
Aside from bringing your project piece, everything you need to learn basic techniques and finishes will be provided. I will supply the paint, brushes and other supplies along with some great snacks and drinks.
You will be able to walk out of the workshop with a finished piece and the knowledge and confidence to tackle projects on your own!
The class fee is $95. The fee is non-refundable and due upon registration. Class size is limited to allow for proper hands-on instruction.
